Public Ownership of Essential Services

Essential services should not be run for private profit. We'll bring gas, electricity, water, railways, communications infrastructure and the Royal Mail into public ownership so that profits are ploughed back into services, whilst providing coherent strategies and long term price stability for the benefit of citizens and industry. Read More

Hands off our NHS!

The NHS is at the core of the British way of life. Access to healthcare for British citizens must be free at the point of service. We'll get rid of the 'targets' bureaucracy, streamline services, and restore control of healthcare to medical professionals. Read More

Immigration and EU Trade

The UK does not have an 'instant on' capability to provide the public services and infrastructure required to sustain mass immigration. Uncontrolled immigration impacts jobs, housing, schools, transport, and healthcare. We will welcome those with the skills to help us prosper as a country but, in common with many other countries in the world, we will impose a strict points-based system for immigration. Read More

Tax Reform

The UK's tax system is not fit for purpose. We'll seek a comprehensive review of taxation, to include replacing Council Tax with Income Tax, a clamp down on corporate tax dodgers, and a simplification of the tax system to reduce the burden on small businesses. Read More

Police block child sex abuse case from CPS review

In a January 2015 letter to David Crompton, Chief Constable of South Yorkshire Constabulary, David Gale, voluntary Chief Executive of (@K4CUK), has asked why the requirement to send a child sex abuse case for review by the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) has been ignored.

Gale said, “The Haigh case is disturbing because it includes persistent allegations made by a child to independent witnesses, including two videoed interviews with specialist police officers, over a period of three years. At the conclusion of the police engagement, all involved were agreed that the evidence pointed to genuine abuse. At that point, ALL of the key players were changed, simultaneous to the introduction of a new unsubstantiated allegation of ‘coaching’ being made against the mother.”

In 2013, K4CUK evidenced to Doncaster police officers the withholding of evidence from the court by Doncaster Children’s Services. The documentary evidence was sourced from South Yorkshire Constabulary’s own solicitor. Despite police assurances of the case being readied for CPS review, the case has never been to CPS. Immediately after those assurances, Victoria Haigh was unlawfully imprisoned, being released on an emergency order following documentary evidence being supplied to the MoJ by David Gale.

Victoria Haigh, the alleged victim’s mother, has been subjected to a concerted effort to silence her, with police officers from South Yorkshire and Nottinghamshire Constabulary evidenced as colluding with Doncaster Children’s Services and Nottinghamshire Probation Trust to abuse the legal process whilst protecting the brother of a police officer from formal investigation.

Gale said, “As an ex-police officer, I ensure that K4CUK’s investigations are conducted with professionalism and rigour. It was particularly disturbing to find evidence of a senior South Yorkshire police officer having lied about the enquiries that he claimed to have been making during the course of his ‘investigation’. A formal complaint made by Victoria Haigh has received no response.”

“I have asked South Yorkshire Constabulary’s Chief Constable to tell me why his force has failed to follow guidelines for child sex abuse investigations in the Haigh case.”

David Gale is the founder and voluntary CEO for Kids for Cash UK which investigates malpractice and corruption in children's social care and the family justice system, as well as exposing paedophiles. In May 2013, Gale investigated the unlawful imprisonment of Victoria Haigh, providing evidence to the Ministry of Justice that initiated her emergency release from HMP Peterborough.
